I have to be honest here... I didn't feel like this was a complete book. I was left with more questions than answers. This was a quick read and I feel a (vague) intro to Carter's story in Merciless. But I haven't finished reading that series yet. But while the writing wasn't bad, I just felt like this was an incomplete story.
