Thrown Down is the second book in Tessa Bailey's Made in Jersey series. I have not read the first book (Crashed Out) and I don't really plan on it.
Vaughn De Matteo left River Purcell four years ago and didn't look back. So when he finds out that she gave birth to his daughter, Vaughn returns to his hometown of Hook to win back his girl's.
Andddd... that is basically the story. I thought the heroine had NO backbone when it came to Vaughn and the damage he caused when he just left her.
And the "dirty talk" got a little bit REALLY ridiculous. It wasn't a "turn on" to read. In fact... all I did was roll my eyes and go "Really...???".
It got to the point where I just started skimming through it so this book would just END!!
