All of You by Callie Harper

Book Description

Night after night, Jax pictures her coming to him. In his dreams, Sky appears in the darkness, ready and wanting. But the night that finally happens, he finds out they’re in the middle of a nightmare.

Sky has nowhere to turn. Only one man can keep her safe, but he’s the most dangerous of them all. Her only choice is to put herself in Jax’s hands. Even if it destroys them both.

Note: “All of You” is a standalone hot contemporary romance. It’s one of four “All In” novels, which can be read in any order, with some crossover characters

All of You is the third book in Callie Harper's All In series.  Each book focuses on a different couple with some character crossover from other books (and future books).  All of You focuses on Jax and Sky and their journey to finding their happily-ever-after.

Sky works at an assisted living facility where Jax's grandfather is.  She is insanely attracted to Jax.  But there is a (BIG) problem...  Sky is married.  Even though her husband is a psychotic loser, Sky isn't one to cheat.  Her husband, Mike, has gotten increasingly violent towards her, and she is binding her time, stashing away money so she can leave him.  She knows it would be dangerous for herself and Jax if Mike ever found out about their mutual attraction.

Jax, along with a business partner, own a bar that attracts a lot of the MC crowd, where he sees Mike all the time with woman that are not his wife.  Jax doesn't understand how Mike could want any other woman when he has Sky as his wife.  Jax wants Sky but he respects the fact that Sky won't cross that line from friend to more while she is married.  He doesn't like it, but he respects her wishes.

It isn't until Mike finds out about their friendship/relationship that Sky asks Jax for help.  And from this point on, Jax and Sky's relationship really develop as they fight for what they want: each other.

While I really enjoyed the story, I felt there were times when the story seemed to drag a bit and I hard a hard time following the jumps in time.  A few times I had to go back and reread a few pages to figure out when/how far in time the jump in time was.

Rating: 3.5 out of 5
