Let Me by Cecy Robson

Book Description

Once he was broken beyond repair. Now this MMA contender is fighting to be a better man—for her. RT Book Reviews proclaims that the O’Brien Family series from award-winning author Cecy Robson “has the hottest brothers ever!” And in Let Me, it is Finn’s turn to discover how love can heal the deepest wounds.

A mixed martial arts star on the rise, Finn O’Brien dismantles his opponents with brutal precision. And yet beneath his fierce persona, Finn is raw from a trauma he’s buried for years . . . until the day his deep-rooted rage erupts and lands him in court-mandated therapy. Finn’s not one to bare his soul, but if talking it out means meeting beautiful women like Sol Marieles, he’ll give it a shot.

Sol is working toward her masters degree in psychology, and already she feels like she’s in over her head. With an important internship on the line and a scary family situation demanding her attention, the last thing Sol needs is Finn around to distract her. The man is ripped and seriously sexy yet it’s his troubled side that warns her to keep her distance. But their attraction is intense, and he clearly has the heat to see how far and fast their passion takes them.

Alone, Finn and Sol have been fighting to find happiness in their lives. Together, there’s no stopping them as they face their greatest challenges—not in the ring, but in their hearts.

O'Brien Family Series
Once Kissed (Book 1) Review HERE
Let Me (Book 2)

Let Me is the second book in Cecy Robson's O'Brien family series.  Each book can be read as a standalone since it focuses on a different O'Brien sibling.  Let Me focuses on Finn O'Brien an up and coming MMA fighter and the woman that makes him want to become a whole man.

Finn O'Brien has learned to take his rage out on his opponents in the octagon.  But when a locker room incident lands him in court appointed therapy, he wonders if he'll ever be able to let go of his inner rage.  While at therapy, he runs into Sol Marieles while she is interning at the therapist office where Finn is seeking his therapy.  Finn has always been drawn to smart, witty, and beautiful Sol, but he knows he isn't whole enough for a woman like her.  But he is willing to give it a shot.

Sol's life is very busy.  She is working hard towards her masters degree in psychology, and that alone is making her feel in over her head.  On top of the stresses of school she has a difficult home life that seems to be demanding more and more of her attention.  She doesn't need Finn and all his sexy-ness distracting her.

Cecy Robson takes us on an emotional ride with Let Me.  I loved the way Finn and Sol's relationship progressed throughout the book.  They found love, comfort, understanding, and a sense of peace with each other that they haven't been able to find on their own.

Let Me is a very heartfelt story about two people trying to work through their own personal traumas and find that they are stronger together than they are apart.

I highly recommend that you read the O'Brien family series!!
