I have a book hangover from this book. On one hand I really enjoyed Katherine (a.k.a Kitty or Duchess) and Adam's (Maverick) story and how their romance/love progressed. But on the other hand, Katherine's parent were so disgusting that my brain couldn't handle them. It's crazy to me that a parent would use their child the way that they did... ick. And surprisingly, I understood WHY Katherine went along with her parents (especially her father).
